During a career that spans 35 years, Ms. White has spearheaded publicity campaigns for an illustrious Who’s Who of designers, antiques dealers and design firms.

LOS ANGELES, CA.- Marilyn White, the name long associated with the most well-known art fairs, interior designers, art and antique galleries, and design-related companies, is now building buzz for her many projects from newly established headquarters in Los Angeles’s Miracle Mile district.

Says Ms. White: “Thanks to today’s cyber-age, everyone stays instantaneously connected, so I can readily carry on as usual with my work for long-term New York clients while enlarging a roster of new ones in Los Angeles.”

During a career that spans 35 years, Ms. White has spearheaded publicity campaigns for an illustrious Who’s Who of designers, antiques dealers and design firms. Among them: McMillen Inc., Noel Jeffrey, Rose Tarlow and Melrose House, Sally Sirkin Lewis and J. Robert Scott, Carlton Hobbs, Hyde Park Antiques, Ariadne Galleries, The Blumka Galleries, Steinitz, Roberto Polo’s Galerie Historismus, Linda Horn Antiques, the textile firms of Scalamandré and Brunschwig & Fils, as well as John Widdicomb Furniture which introduced the Jacques Grange Collection and the furniture collection by Mario Buatta.

Ms. White has also orchestrated publicity for The AADLA Spring Show NYC, The IFPDA Print Fair, NYC 20, The Biennale des Antiquaires, The Shanghai Fine Jewelry & Art Fair, The Moscow World Fine Art Fair; The Palm Beach International Fine Art & Antiques Fair; The Beverly Hills International Art & Antiques Fair, The Olympia International Art & Antiques Fair in London, The American International Art & Antique Fair in Palm Beach, Sanford Smith’s Outsider Art Fair and Modernism Show, Sculptural Objects & Functional Art Fair (SOFA New York) and Metro Curates.

White’s varied career also includes such diverse projects as the legendary “I Love New York” campaign; public relations for an exhibition by LIFE magazine photographer Alfred Eisenstadt and for Texaco’s Live from the Met broadcasts; and publicity campaigns for Academy Award-winning films like Network and Julia.

“This is a very exciting time to be in Los Angeles,” says the publicist, “and I look forward to expanding my base to include art and design clients out here while continuing my work with my international clients.” Among them are: Asia Week New York, The New York Ceramics & Glass Fair, Lark Mason Associates, iGavel Auctions, Masterpiece London, and Keno Auctions.
