LONDON.- Modern Art announces a solo exhibition of new sculptures by David Altmejd. This is Altmejds fourth solo show with Modern Art.
This exhibition is comprised of a number of head-like sculptures that stand on tables and plinths.
David Altmejd lives and works in New York, NY, USA. He was born in Montreal, Canada, in 1974, and holds an MA Fine Art from Columbia University, New York, NY, USA (2001), and a BA Fine Art from Université du Québec à Montréal, Montreal, Canada (1998).
In 2007 Altmejd represented Canada at the Venice Biennale. David Altmejds current solo exhibition Flux at Musée dArt Moderne de la Ville de Paris, Paris, France (2014-2015), travels to MUDAM Musée dArt Moderne Grand-Duc Jean, Luxembourg, in March and Musée DArt Contemporain de Montréal, Montreal, Canada, in June this year.
