LONDON.- H&H Classics, one of Europes leading specialist auctioneers of classic vehicles, has appointed Julian Shoolheifer to the role of Private Sales Principal. The senior position will be based in a new office in the south of England, and Shoolheifer will bring a wealth of experience gained over 18 years at the top end of the British collectors car scene.
After gaining an Honours Degree in Fine Art Valuation, Shoolheifer went on to head Sothebys Vintage & Classic Cars department and then held a similar position at Cheffins auctioneers. For the last 10 years he has been running a successful classic car consultancy, advising private clients, collectors, museums, the legal profession, investment companies, the police and major car manufacturers.
On behalf of H&H Classics, Shoolheifer will continue to guide individual collectors and institutions as well as handling H&Hs successful Private Sales division.
My new role as Private Sales Principal is a genuinely exciting and challenging prospect, said Shoolheifer. Over a lifelong involvement in the classic car world, I have been privileged to have access to, and involvement with, some of the worlds most desirable and valuable vehicles.
I will provide H&Hs clients with a proper long-term and trusting relationship in all aspects of their classic vehicle ownership to complement H&H's established auction business.
Commenting on the new appointment, H&H Classics Managing Director and Chief Auctioneer, Simon Hope, said: Julian brings extensive private sales and acquisition experience, restoration advice, collection management and, of course, valuation services to H&H.
I have no doubt that Julians appointment will strengthen even further H&Hs long-held reputation for transparency, professionalism and client service. We look forward to having him on board.
Julian Shoolheifer will commence his new position at H&H Classics on 3 November 2014.
