NEW YORK, NY.- Artsy, which has become the leading online destination for accessing the world’s most influential art fairs, has partnered with Art Toronto 2013 as the fair’s exclusive online partner to offer collectors and art enthusiasts the opportunity to visit Art Toronto 2013 remotely and inquire about artworks virtually or via mobile device using Artsy's newly launched iPhone app. Artsy’s exclusive preview of Canada’s most important art fair launches on October 21, and will remain live throughout the fair providing access to 21,000+ artworks from fair’s 96+ exhibitors at artsy.net/art-toronto.

In conjunction with the partnership, Artsy will run extensive coverage of the fair and will premiere its first Canadian focused feature, highlighting the Art Gallery of Ontario and the Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery, and featuring selections from the fair by art-world insiders, collectors and tastemakers. Additionally, Artsy will launch a dedicated sale of artworks, all under $10,000, by premier Canadian contemporary artists including Douglas Coupland, Marcel Dzama, Anda Kubis, Martin Golland, and David Urban, General Idea, and Sarah Anne Johnson, among others. Artsy’s designated team of specialists will be on hand to help users connect with galleries and purchase select works directly from Artsy.net as well as the app. At the fair, Artsy Specialist Elena Soboleva will offer VIP tours, demos of the Artsy platform and other special collector services. The Artsy booth (#1406) will be located on site directly at the entrance to the fair.
