MADRID.- Trasatl醤tica PHotoEspa馻 and the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) have released the names of the photographers chosen to participate in the portfolio reviews to be held in Colombia and Nicaragua. The Colombia review, organised in association with the Spanish Cooperation Training Centre in Cartagena de Indias, will take place on 19 and 20 November, and the Cultural Centre of Spain in Nicaragua will host the reviews on 10 and 11 December.
Forty photographers from nine different countriesArgentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, the United States, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru and Venezuelahave been selected to participate in this professional encounter.

Submissions now being accepted for the online curating competition
Trasatl醤tica PHotoEspa馻 and the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) invite curators of any nationality to participate in an online curating competition. The challenge is to come up with a curatorial project using the works of the 40 Latin American photographers chosen to participate in the portfolio reviews that will take place at the Spanish Cooperation Training Centre in Cartagena de Indias and the Cultural Centre of Spain in Nicaragua.
After reviewing all of the proposals received, the six finalists will be selected and published on the Trasatl醤tica website (www.trasatlanticaphe.es). The jury will also choose a winning project which may be produced as an itinerant exhibition and shown at the AECIDS various cultural centres throughout Latin America.
