SYRACUSE, NY.- The Everson Museum of Art will offer a unique Artist Open, Verse in Person: Secret Poetry, on July 9 at 6 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
We are pleased to be able to partner with local poets for this exciting reading, said Pam McLaughlin, Everson Curator of Education and Public Programs. The theme of secrets will provide for thought provoking poems.
Poets from two Central New York literary institutions, including members of the faculty of the Downtown Writer's Center and the editorial staff of the Comstock Review, will share new works created for this special reading. Each poet will read poems based on the theme of secrets to coincide with the PostSecret exhibition as another extension of community involvement.
