The “Global Gallery” project (
www.123kinderlachen.org) sponsors children’s festivals around the world during which children of all cultures paint pictures together. Each of the paintings have a message that is passed around the globe to other children. During the festival, children exchange views of neighboring countries or ethnic groups within their own county, or maybe within their own group. During the course of this important project, the “world’s biggest picture” emerges; painted by children – transcending all borders and conflicts.
