SAINT LOUIS, MO.- The Saint Louis Art Museum announces the presentation of "Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Freedom Celebration: Dream. Hope. Change." on January 17, 2009 at 7:00 pm in the Auditorium.

This year's presentation and performances will praise the life and contributions of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Through a presentation of photography, song and music, this program will celebrate the legacy of many that have paved the way to social, civic and economic change. Admission to the event is free.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day is a United States holiday marking King's birthday and observed on the third Monday of January each year, around the time of King's birthday, January 15.

The Saint Louis Art Museum is one of the nation's leading comprehensive art museums with collections that include works of art of exceptional quality from virtually every culture and time period.
