Everson Museum Offers New Sessions of Noted Mix it up! Art Classes

SYRACUSE, NY.- The Everson Museum of Art once again offers its popular Mix It Up! Art Classes for children ages 4-12. Classes are offered in two sessions: Spring Session I: March 21, 28, April 4, 11; Spring Session II: April 25, May 2, 9, 16. Classes run from 10:30 a.m. – noon and meet in the ArtZone on the lower level of the Museum. Cost is $50 for Everson members and $60 for non-members per session. Sign up for both sessions and save: $95 Everson members, $115 non-members.

“Mix It Up! classes are the perfect environment for young, creative minds,” says Amy Goodall-Ayres, Education Manager. “Students not only experience a variety of projects and media, but through the exploration of inner creativity, they experience themselves.”

Students will learn new art techniques in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Projects will offer young artists the opportunity to experiment in a variety of media. Students will explore the galleries to find paintings, sculptures and ceramics that will offer inspiration for creating original works of art of their own.

To register, please contact Amy Goodall-Ayres, agoodall@everson.org. or (315) 474 6064
