Los Angeles Art Show Makes Move to Los Angeles Convention Center

LOS ANGELES, CA.- The Fine Art Dealers Association (FADA) and KR Martindale Show Management announced the leap of the Los Angeles Art Show (LA Art Show) to the Los Angeles Convention Center beginning with the January 21-25, 2009 show. Now in its 14th year, the move will nearly double the size of the LA Art Show and increase the number of international galleries to 175 exhibitors. With 2008 exhibition figures exceeding 30,000 visitors and achieving record-setting multi-million dollar art sales, the 2009 fair promises to be the most innovative and eclectic show to date. According to show producer, Kim Martindale, “Los Angeles is a destination for art. The well-established Los Angeles Art Scene is diverse and continuing to expand both in the number of galleries and collectors locally and internationally situated. The Los Angeles Art Show’s move to the LA Convention Center mirrors this growth”.
