GLASHGOW.- Glasgow University Chapel presents Hannah Frank A Glasgow Artist 100th Birthday Exhibition, on view through Sunday, October 12 2008. This year sees the 100th birthday of the Glasgow artist Hannah Frank, a GU student of the late 1920s. To celebrate the event, the University Archives, The Interfaith Chaplaincy and the Department of Art History is staging a full scale exhibition of Hannah’s work, beginning on Hannah’s birthday on 23rd August 2008. The final exhibition in the five year international tour of Hannah Frank’s drawings and sculptures.

A large selection of Hannah Frank's works, many loaned from private collectors and never before exhibited. Family sketches, self-portraits and extracts from the artist’s illustrated diaries. Some works on canvas. Special exhibition of Glasgow University Magazines from the 1920s and 30s, to which Hannah Frank contributed on many occasions.
