MADRID.- The exhibition puts the emphasis in the origins of the forgetfulness of the humanitarian crises in which political factors coexist, social and economic factors that push the whole population to precariousness and silence. The exhibit, organized by Doctors of the World with the support of the Office of Humanitarian Aid of the European Commission and the Casa Encendida, is shown in a flooded dark camera of red light that simulates the revealed study of the photographers.

In this dark camera, 34 international reporters reveal with their photographs the situations of unprotection and forgetfulness that people suffer anywhere in the world. In this photographic laboratory the public will discover the photographs placed in buckets full of developng liquid next to the testimonies and commentaries that tie people to Doctors of the World. Exhibition

"34 views against the forgetfulness", was created in 2006 in the international festival of photography ` Visa pour l'imagé of Perpiñán (France) in an attempt to mobilize the public opinion in the forgotten populations. With this objective, Doctors of the World made a call to photographers so that they contribute to this initiative with snapshots that denounced the ostracism and the little attention that is lent anywhere in the world to many crises.

Thirty four well reputed reporters of responded to this call and chose one of their images to symbolize this forgetfulness and voluntary people, cooperators and journalists near the ONG completed the work attesting with their words each one of the photographs. The exhibit started in Paris in September of 2007.
