ITHACA, NY.- The Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art presents Looking Homeward: A Century of American Art, on view through September 23. The Johnson Museum is rich in work by twentieth-century American artists, including George Bellows, John Sloan, Milton Avery, Susan Rothenberg, Wayne Thiebaud, and many others. This exhibition highlights these works alongside works by the Ashcan School on loan from the collection of Mina Rieur Weiner, Class of 1957, and Stephen A. Weiner, as well as gifts to the permanent collection from Phyllis Goody Cohen, Class of 1957.
