HONG KONG.- Christie's announces the Hong Kong Magnificent Jewels Autumn Live Auction on 24 November 2026 during Hong Kong Luxury Week, bringing together more than 120 exceptional jewels. Headlined by The Pink Petal, an exquisite 8.41-carat fancy vivid purple-pink/VS1 Potential Type IIa diamond ring, the sale is further distinguished by a superb Art Deco Cartier brooch set with a 10.10-carat Burmese no-heat 'pigeon's blood' ruby, and an impressive 100.16-carat Burmese no-heat 'royal blue' sapphire and diamond pendant. Ranging from exceptional natural pearls and important jadeite jewellery to rare coloured gemstones and iconic signed creations, the offering showcases exceptional rarity, provenance and design across the most sought-after collecting categories. The sale is expected to resonate with both seasoned collectors and a new generation of jewellery enthusiasts worldwide.

Coloured Gemstones

Coloured gemstones remain among the most sought-after categories in Christie's jewellery auctions. Highlights include a 21.05-carat Kashmir no-heat sapphire and diamond ring, mounted by Cartier, distinguished by its rare combination of significant size and coveted 'royal blue' colour, a 5.03-carat Burmese no-heat 'pigeon's blood' ruby and diamond ring, and a 18.20-carat Colombian no oil emerald and diamond ring.

Jadeites

The sale includes an exceptional suite of jadeite jewellery, led by a jadeite bead and diamond necklace, featuring exceptionally substantial beads distinguished by their harmonious colour matching and seamless gradation. Further highlights include a rare jadeite bangle and a superb set of jadeite and diamond jewellery. Prized for its exceptional beauty, rarity and rich cultural significance across Asia, fine jadeite remains among the region's most coveted collecting categories. The selection showcases examples of exceptional quality, underscoring Christie's longstanding expertise in presenting jadeite of the highest calibre.

Natural Pearls

Natural pearls are admired for their understated elegance and layered symbolism of purity, power and tradition. Leading the category is a pair of natural pearl and diamond earrings by Van Cleef & Arpels, created in 1957 for the Duchess of Windsor, whose collection with the Duke of Windsor ranks among the most celebrated jewellery collections of the twentieth century. Each earring centres a black or white natural pearl within a surround of pear-shaped and round diamonds, and later formed part of the collection of renowned American designer Calvin Klein. Further highlights include a natural pearl and diamond necklace and a natural pearl and diamond brooch.

Jewellery from Renowned Houses

Showcasing emblematic designs and exceptional craftsmanship synonymous with the world's leading jewellery houses, the offering comprises a ruby, emerald and diamond 'mystery-set - Sublime' necklace by Van Cleef & Arpels, an iconic expression of 1980s jewellery design. Featuring floral motifs rendered in the Maison's signature 'Mystery-Set' technique, the necklace was later showcased in major institutional exhibitions across Asia and Europe. Further illustrating the Maison's mastery of this highly complex technique is a ruby and diamond 'Mystery-Set' floral brooch. Additional highlights include a multi-gem 'Baby Panthère' brooch by Cartier, celebrating the Maison's most enduring motif since 1914, alongside iconic creations by Bulgari, Graff, Harry Winston and Tiffany & Co., and works from Asian contemporary jewellery artists Cindy Chao and Wallace Chan.

In 2026, Christie's, the world-leading art and luxury business, is celebrating its 40th Anniversary in Asia. Over the last four decades, Christie's has established itself as Asia's leading house, orchestrating many of the region's most historic and record-breaking sales of exceptional objects and collections, driving region-wide expansion, and pioneering digital innovations that have redefined the way Asian collectors connect with and experience the industry.
