NEW YORK, NY.- The annual Madison Avenue Fall Gallery Walk, held in association with ARTnews, is one of New York City’s most anticipated art events of the season. For one art-filled autumn day on Saturday, October 3 from 10am to 5pm, 42 internationally renowned galleries will welcome art collectors and enthusiasts to view the latest exhibitions, attend curator talks and tours, and have the opportunity to engage with artists.

From the legendary masters to the contemporary artists working today, the Madison Avenue Fall Gallery Walk offers an extensive overview of the current art scene and the opportunity to see the artwork in person and to learn from artists and gallery curators. New this year, there are more new galleries to discover on Madison Avenue, as well as an Open House at Sotheby’s.

Leila Heller – Ryan Koopmans and Alice Wexell will lead an in-person walkthrough of the exhibition, discussing The Wild Within, their collaborative process, and how photography, digital reconstruction, nature, and motion shape their work. Every 20 minutes, from 10am to 4pm.

Level & Co - A private installation featuring a world-class collection of Jean-Michel Basquiat paintings, among other important contemporary artists. Viewing Reservation is required: 11am - 5pm.

Lincoln Glen - 250 Years: American Women Artists and the Nation’s Story trace the nation’s artistic history through the remarkable achievements of American women artists spanning from the Revolutionary era to the present day. 2pm: An exhibition tour by one of the gallery owners.



Memor Museum - Featuring 17 works in ink, mixed media, and glass, Xie Tian’s solo exhibition transforms traditional Chinese calligraphy and brushwork beyond paper. Join a guided exploration of Xie Tian’s innovative practice, examining how he deconstructs Chinese characters. 1pm, 2pm, 3pm & 4pm.

Onishi Gallery – Celebrating the gallery’s twentieth anniversary, this exhibition presents contemporary kōgei artists working through innovative forms and perspectives, bringing the evolving spirit of Japanese craftsmanship to audiences in New York. Gallery Talk by the Director on Contemporary Japanese Metalwork, Lacquer Art, and Ceramics. 3pm.

Pace Di Donna Schrader Galleries specializes in the acquisition and placement of significant 19th and 20th century works of art. Discussion about the exhibition on view. 2:30pm.

Thomsen Gallery – Japanese Masterpieces 17th – 21st Century. Gallery Talk: 2pm & 4pm.

The New York Society Library – a curator’s talk will delve into the ideals of the Enlightenment by viewing key objects, including a first edition of Thomas Paine’s cataclysmic pamphlet Common Sense, a first edition of the Federalist Papers, and books read by George Washington. Curator Talk: 12pm, 2pm & 3pm.

Vilcek Foundation – Join Vilcek Foundation Curator Eana Kim on a tour of the foundation’s special exhibition Danh Võ: Rebuilding Liberty, presented timed to the foundation’s 25th anniversary and the 250th anniversary of the United States. Curator Talks: 2pm & 3pm.

Vince – The Mack Art Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening community through art. View works from their Residency program, which fosters an environment for both international and local artists to create, collaborate, and grow. Curator Talks: 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm & 4pm.
