NEW YORK, NY.- Eli Wilner & Company has announced that all funding allocated through its museum grant program for August 2026 has been fully committed in support of reframing and frame restoration projects at museums and cultural institutions nationwide.

In response to the continued demand for the program, funding partners have committed an additional $200,000 for the September 2026 funding cycle. These funds will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis through September 30, 2026, or until the funds are fully committed.

The grants are intended to offset a portion of the cost of qualifying frame restoration and reframing projects. Recipient institutions are required to participate in the cost of the project, while grant funding covers the remaining approved portion. This shared-cost approach enables museums to undertake important projects that might otherwise be postponed due to budget limitations.

Among the projects recently supported through the program is the reframing of Albert Gleizes’ The Schoolboy (L’�colier) (1924), in the collection of the Chazen Museum of Art at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Eli Wilner & Company created a four-inch-wide shaped and parcel-gilt replica of the frame on Gleizes’ Compositie in the collection of the Singer Laren Museum. The new frame was created in preparation for the reinstallation of the Chazen Museum’s collection galleries, which will open later this fall.

The continued expansion of the program reflects the strong response from museums across the country and the ongoing demand for assistance with significant frame restoration and reframing initiatives.
