TEGERNSEE.- RM Sothebys enjoyed a highly successful sale at Lake Tegernsee for its second live auction in partnership with the Concours of Elegance Germany. With over 90% of all lots sold, the sale concludes what has been an incredibly successful first half of the companys 2026 auction calendar.
The boutique sale offered four memorabilia lots and twenty cars, and grossed 10.5 million, with the 2009 Ferrari 599XX Evo that proved to be the top seller, achieving an excellent 2,536,250. Other highlights include the 2023 Ferrari 812 Competizione which sold for 1,467,500 and the 2004 Porsche Carrera GT which sold for 1,445,000
Highlights
2009 Ferrari 599XX Evo
One of the earliest cars built and approximately the fourth of 45 examples, it was upgraded to the highly desirable Evoluzione specification in 2012. Finished in the desirable Ferrari colour of Rosso Fuoco, it has only had two private owners from new and has been maintained by the factorys XX Programme division.
2023 Ferrari 812 Competizione
One of 999 coupé examples built of the track-focused Ferrari 812 Competizione. With one registered owner from new it has covered a mere 1,587 kilometres and is extensively configured via the Ferrari Personalisation Programme, finished in the historic, special-order shade of Canna Di Fucile with a Giallo Fly racing stripe.
2004 Porsche Carrera GT
Delivered new to the United States, it was offered with 24,121 recorded kilometres. Delivered new in desirable GT Silver Metallic over Ascot Brown leather seats, it was later repainted by the second owner in Lamborghini Reventón matte grey.
2015 Ferrari 458 Speciale
Boasting one registered owner and showing a mere 365 kilometers from new, this fine example is presented in Rosso Corsa exterior with Nero roof pairs with red and black Alcantara interior and with a range of desirable optional equipment.
2006 Mercedes-Benz CLK DTM AMG Cabriolet
One of just 80 convertible examples of the CLK DTM AMG produced and built by WA AG to celebrate Mercedes-Benz winning the 2003 DTM title. Preserved immaculately over its 20 years, the car shows just 1,997 and was offered for sale by its original, supplying Mercedes-Benz dealership. Finished in Bright Silver Metallic over a fabric and leather interior trimmed in Black/Anthracite.
2009 Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M
One of only 499 stated examples produced, the 16M was commissioned to celebrate Ferrari winning its 16th Formula 1 World Constructors Championship title in 2008. Finished in Rosso Scuderia over Nero Alcantara with matching Nero soft-top roof, it is configured with carbon fibre exterior package and carbon fibre racing seats.
