GLEN COVE, NY.- Roland Auctions NY will present their upcoming Saturday, June 27th, 2026 at 10am Multi-Estates Auction, being their first of the summer season. Highlighting the June 27th auction is a selection of Art, bronze, rare maps and Decorative items from the private collection of New York-based Dr. Geoffrey Scott Carrol, Co-Founder, along with actor Sean Connery of the world-renowned Dressed to Kilt fashion events over a 25-year period. The high-profile Dressed to Kilt fashion shows were held mainly in New York City over the years, spotlighting Scottish fashion and designers with proceeds benefitting Wounded Warriors and other similar charities. For many years, Dr. Carroll lived and worked in Brussels, where he put together his impressive collection, even acquiring artwork and items from Belgian castles.

Estimate $8,000-$12,000 and a Grant Wood (American, 1891-1942) "Doorway - Cluny Museum Paris," oil on board, likely from early in Wood's career, signed Grant Wood to lower right, with an additional inscription "Abbey Door, Paris," to reverse, accompanied by supporting documentation from Hirschl & Adler Galleries.
