NEW YORK, NY.- Christie's Important Watches concluded on June 12, totaling $17,066,820, it was 99% sold by lot and 173% sold by low estimate. The sale drew strong global participation across online, in‑room, and telephone bidding, with 49% of bids from the Americas, 26% from EMEA, and 24% from APAC.

At the center of the auction's success was the exceptionally rare Patek Philippe 'Red Dot' Ref. 3448G with two cases, the undisputed highlight of the sale, which realized $2,759,000, dramatically surpassing its high estimate of $1,600,000 and reaffirming the enduring strength of top‑tier Patek Philippe complications.

Another standout result came from the Audemars Piguet 18K White Gold Jumping Hour, circa 1928, which achieved $1,016,000, nearly thirty‑four times its low estimate.

Additional lots that performed exceptionally well included: Patek Philippe Stainless Steel Wristwatch with Concave Bezel, a supremely rare and coveted example, which sold for $304,800 against a low estimate of $15,000, a Patek Philippe 18K White Gold Wristwatch with Lapis Lazuli Dial, the only known example, which achieved $95,250 against a low estimate of $15,000 as well as a Piaget 18K Gold and Tiger's Eye Sautoir Necklace Watch, which sold for $95,250, more than triple its low estimate.





A Richard Mille RM022 'Red' Aerodyne Dual Time Zone also drew strong interest, selling for $762,000. Another highlight was a Patek Philippe formerly owned by Andy Warhol — a historically notable 18K gold wristwatch with sweep center seconds, retailed by Hausmann & Co. The watch realized $170,180, underscoring continued demand for timepieces with exceptional provenance.

The sale featured several watches with notable provenance. A 1939 Cartier Tank Normale associated with Gone With the Wind achieved $38,100, more than six times its low estimate. In celebration of America's upcoming 250th anniversary, two Patek Philippe Tiffany & Co. Calatravas formerly owned by President Lyndon Baines Johnson were offered: the Ref. 2552 sold for $241,300, and the Ref. 2526 realized $184,150, both exceeding their high estimates.

The auction also included watches from The Collection of Todd Michael Glaser, representing twenty‑five years of collecting by the noted real‑estate developer. Leading the group was a Cartier Unique Platinum Tank Cintrée Ref. 2843J, which realized $279,400. The collection as a whole totaled $1,647,190.
