SAINT ETIENNE, FRANCE.- Musée d’art moderne Saint-Étienne Métropole presents Txomin Badiola, on view through April 22, 2007. The career of the Bilbao artist Txomin Badiola reflects some of the main trends in Spanish and international art over the last few years. The exhibition currently on display in St Etienne is made up of a selection of installations and images created since 1996, taken mainly from Spanish collections that have never before been shown in France. The twelve works displayed in 6 rooms, consisting of a series of photographs, installations and videos, allow visitors to become emerged in a universe that is both personal and deep-rooted in permanent dialogue between tradition and avant-garde which characterizes modernity.
