DALLAS, TX.- Heritage Auctions March 18 Prints & Multiples Showcase Auction a format designed to offer collectors access to works at more approachable price points than the companys marquee Signature auctions achieved a 100% sell-through rate and realized $231,775 across 89 lots.
The sale drew participation from 422 bidders and demonstrated particular strength among blue-chip names. Of the 20 highest-selling lots, works by Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall and Jacob Lawrence accounted for a significant portion of top results, underscoring continued collector confidence in established figures in the Prints & Multiples market.
Leading the auction was Bouquet de fleurs (Bouquet of Peace) (1958), an editioned lithograph after Pablo Picasso, which realized $10,000. Another Picasso lithograph, Le Clown (1968), followed at $9,687. Jacob Lawrences Play (1999), a vibrant screenprint published in collaboration with the Hampton University Museum, achieved $8,750, while Joan Mirós La frappeuse de silex (1973) realized $8,125. An Agnes Martin portfolio, Paintings and Drawings 19741990 (1991), also brought $8,125.
Additional top performers included Alison Saars Snake Man (1994), which realized $6,000 and ranked among the auctions top 10 lots, reflecting sustained institutional and private interest in the artists work.
