LONDON.- The Nicoletta Fiorucci Foundation presents its 2026 programme, which includes new commissions in both its London and Venice spaces, and the second iteration of the Nicoletta Fiorucci Foundation Prize at Frieze London.

Nancy Lupo
March 14–May 23, 2026, London
Curated by Vittoria de Franchis

Known for challenging traditional approaches to sculpture, Nancy Lupo (1983, Flagstaff, USA) engages with material culture and language, exploring how collective fantasies and emotion become embedded in form. She tests ambiguity and confusion as conditions that are both unsettling and full of potential. Lupo’s first solo exhibition in the UK presents a new body of work conceived specifically for the Nicoletta Fiorucci Foundation’s London space. The exhibition includes a work co-produced with Spike Island, which will be presented at the Nicoletta Fiorucci Foundation and subsequently at Spike Island, Bristol.

Jenna Sutela
March 14–May 23, 2026, London
Curated by Vittoria de Franchis

Jenna Sutela (1983, Turku, Finland) presents an exhibition as part of the Library programme at the Foundation, dedicated to experimental and intermedia practices. The exhibition includes a site-specific iteration of her sound installation Pond Brain, alongside a new work conceived for the Library as an extension of the piece. Working across living sculptures, images, and sound, Sutela’s practice explores open systems in biology, computation, and language, often focusing on forms of communication that exceed human authorship. On the occasion of the exhibition, Sutela will release a limited edition record, Pond Brain, on PAN, a multi-disciplinary record label and platform for artists, with support from the Nicoletta Fiorucci Foundation.

Lydia Ourahmane
May 5–November 22, 2026, Venice
Curated by Polly Staple

Lydia Ourahmane (1992, Saïda, Algeria) presents a solo exhibition of new work at the Nicoletta Fiorucci Foundation in Venice, curated by Polly Staple and coinciding with the 61st International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia. Born in Saïda, Algeria in 1992 and currently based in Barcelona, Ourahmane works across installations, sculptures, moving image, and sound to create situations that extend beyond institutional boundaries while negotiating their conditions. Exploring landscapes of displacement and community, her work examines how the movement of objects and people is influenced by state restrictions and invisible barriers, often involving audiences as material, subject, and author. Ourahmane’s new commission will follow a residency at the Nicoletta Fiorucci Foundation in Venice.

Alex Margo Arden
October 1, 2026–January 23, 2027, London
Curated by Vittoria de Franchis

Alex Margo Arden (1994, Croydon, UK) presents a solo exhibition across multiple spaces of the Nicoletta Fiorucci Foundation, comprising a new body of work that continues her research into how events, histories, and images are understood and made visible in new contexts. Drawing on theatrical methodologies, Arden uses remaking and reperformance to examine how history is produced and restaged, questioning authority, authenticity, and labour. Arden is the first recipient of the Nicoletta Fiorucci Foundation Prize at Frieze London, awarded for her presentation By All Accounts with Ginny on Fredrick in the Focus section of Frieze London 2025 by a jury comprising Nicoletta Fiorucci, Hans Ulrich Obrist, Lydia Ourahmane, and Vittoria de Franchis.

Frieze London 2026

The second iteration of the Nicoletta Fiorucci Foundation Prize will take place at Frieze London 2026. Continuing the Nicoletta Fiorucci Foundation’s commitment to artistic experimentation, the Prize supports non-traditional media and unconventional forms of presentation in the Focus section of the fair. A £10,000 cash prize is shared between the winning artist and their gallery and is followed by a commission for the Nicoletta Fiorucci Foundation in London.
