MADRID.- fueradentro is the first major institutional retrospective of the work of FOD (Puerto Lumbreras, Murcia, Spain, 1973) in Madrid. Entering into dialogue with the architecture of Cibeles Palace, the exhibition brings together some twenty works—drawings, paintings, murals, sculptures, and installations—many of which are large-format. FOD (Francisco Olivares Díaz) is one of the most established names within the geometric strand of contemporary Spanish art.

To Jump is Synonymous with an Unknown Future
November 20, 2025–March 15, 2026
Curator: Pedro Huidobro

A collective exhibition showcasing the work of four visual artists at the forefront of Madrid’s emerging creative scene: Sofía Briales (Madrid, 1999), Mario Manso (Logroño, 2004), Isabel Merchante (Madrid, 1999) and Ángel Sevillano (Madrid, 1998). The works, which have been specifically produced for this exhibition, address the plural and heterogeneous panorama of the city’s emerging art scene. In each piece, time acts as the discursive axis, exploring the phenomenological perception of the environment, the ways of being-in-the-world, the relationships between matter, organism, and machine, and the immanence of time in the projections of the self.

Javier Garcerá: Its Beak Windward
December 18, 2025–May 3, 2026
Curator: Isabel Tejeda Martín

The first major institutional exhibition by Javier Garcerá (Puerto de Sagunto, Valencia, Spain, 1967) in Madrid, Its Beak Winward is a large-scale installation of paintings that engage with the architectural space to provide the public with an immersive and sensory experience, where silence, light, and colour are essential elements. The exhibition is an allegory of the times of crisis in which we live and a poetic critique that incites contemplation and reflection as a formula for ethical and civic self-awareness.

Ana Juan: Wunderkammer
January 29–May 3, 2026
Curator: Inmaculada Corcho

Ana Juan (Valencia, Spain, 1961) is one of Spain’s most internationally renowned illustrators and a contemporary drawing pacesetter. She now presents Wunderkammer, the exhibition concept she has been working on with CentroCentro, throughout 2025. This is a project in which she weaves her own universe, presenting visitors with an entire iconographic collection of imaginary beings and figures that interact with one another, fighting, coexisting and transforming themselves.

Madrid Colecciona: 50 Contemporary Art Collections
February 26–September 6, 2026
Curator: Adrián Piera
Advisory committee: María de Corral, Joaquín Gallego, Rosina Gómez-Baeza, Julieta de Haro, Lorena Martínez de Corral and Lucía Ybarra

This exhibition is a tribute to the essential role of the active collector within Madrid's artistic and cultural ecosystem. Each collector has selected two works from their collection: a piece of special personal value, and another recently added piece. Through these selections, the exhibition reveals the less visible bonds that connect the collectors with their works, while simultaneously mapping out the distinct sensibilities and motivations that guide the practice of collecting contemporary art. Featuring a total of one hundred pieces, the exhibition offers an open and diverse journey through painting, photography, drawing, sculpture, video, and installation, reflecting the wealth and plurality of the contemporary art scene, and the efforts of the men and women who ensure its conservation and future: the collectors.

Running until April 2026, CentroCentro is also hosting two projects that propose different visions of Madrid, its cultural life and its memory: Strata. The Immortality of the Ephemeral, by Miluca Sanz and curated by Estrella de Diego, features photography and installation; and Artist’s Trading Cards, by Luis Pérez Calvo and curated by Carlos Delgado Mayordomo, features drawing.
