PARIS.- To celebrate its 80th anniversary, ELLE International is honoring its longstanding involvement in women's empowerment through a major artistic and charitable project. The brand has decided to partner with Artcurial to organize an exceptional charity auction, with all funds raised going to CARE France to finance concrete actions in favor of women.

For 80 years, Care France has been fighting poverty and inequality around the world. Present in more than 100 countries, the association helps the most vulnerable people, especially women and kids, by defending their rights, access to education, and equality.

The project involves 31 contemporary female artists from diverse backgrounds - different cultures, disciplines, and generations - who were invited to create a new work that will be offered for sale. Each brings her own unique perspective and technique, but all share the same spirit of boldness, freedom, and innovation.

“The story of ELLE is closely linked to that of women. With this artistic and solidarity-based initiative, we are proving once again that fashion and art are much more than aesthetic expressions: they are powerful levers for emancipation and transformation.” - Constance Benqué, President of Lagardère News and CEO of ELLE International.

The exhibition, which has been conceived as a major event, has been presented in Osaka at the French Pavilion of the World Fair, in Bangkok at the Alliance Française, and in New York at the Consulate General of France. It will conclude its world tour in Paris, at Artcurial, where it will be on display from November 7th, before being offered for auction on Friday, November 14th.
