GLEN COVE, NY.- Roland Auctions NY presented an exquisite collection of Biedermeier furniture at its recent Fall Estates auction on October 18th, 2025, along with a selection of Contemporary and Modern Art, Decorative Arts, jewelry and other furniture, all coming from various prominent estates.


Biedermeier Neoclassical Chest of Drawers. Sold for $650.

Highlights included a Biedermeier Burlwood Center Table, 20th century, inlaid decorative banding and a square base. [30.5" H x 49.5" Diameter], going for $2925, Six Biedermeier Burlwood Side Chairs, 20th century, with scrolled backs and upholstered seats. [38" H x 19" W x 17" D; seat height: 19"], selling for $2770, a Pair of Biedermeier Club Chairs, 19th to early 20th century, with column capital and applique decoration to arms and striped upholstery. [34.5" H x 30" W x 32" D; seat height: 16"], which sold for $1300 and a Biedermeier Sofa, 19th to early 20th century, with column and applique decorated arms and four scrolled legs and striped upholstery, and two bolster cushions. [38.75" H x 89" W x 28" D; seat height: 17.5], selling for $1100.

Additionally offered at Roland were a Pair of Biedermeier Side Chairs, with scalloped and decorated backrests and floral printed upholstered seats. [37.5" H x 19" W x 18" D; seat height: 20"], going for $975 and a Biedermeier Neoclassical Chest of Drawers, Art Deco neoclassical chest of drawers, 20th century, with gilt mounts and figural decoration dlanking three drawers, on squared feet. [31.5" H x 32" W x 19.25" D], which sold for $650 and a Biedermeier Side or Pedestal Table, 19th century, with radial fruitwood veneer to upper, two drawers, gilt decoration, a carved column, and star form base on bun feet. [27" H x 22.75" Diameter], which went for $617.

Also highly notable were a Pair of Sevres Napoleon III bronze dore mounted tulipwood jardinieres with Sevres porcelain floral decorated plaques to each side, and removable tin inserts, on feet; porcelain elements with marks obscured, possibly unmarked. [8.5" H x 7.5" Square], which sold for $2925 and a Napoleon III two-tier onyx and champleve table with gilt bronze, 20th century, with an onyx over a champleve enamel decorated apron with tapered onyx legs, and a gilt bronze mounted lower tier with champleve decorated feet. [32" H x 19" Diameter]. Property from a Kings Point, NY Estate, also selling for $2925.
