LONDON, ENGLAND.- Charles Saatchi launched a website for art students and some have already sold works through it. More than 2,000 art students have been attracted to this new website.

Charles Saatchi stated, "There is something thrilling about seeing the work of young artists for the first time even before their school shows."

The website is called "STUART" (it stands for "student art") and it inside Charles Saatchi’s main gallery website (www.saatchi-gallery.co.uk). In order to make the site more independent, Saatchi promised not to buy any work from the site for at least a year. According to the Saatchi gallery, interest in STUART has been so high that its Web site crashed this week after attracting more than six million hits in one day.
