LONDON.- We courteously invite you to indulge in another eventide of culinary splendour and awe-inspiring visual treats. From bone broth laden and boiled up fever dreams, to infamous kitchen nightmares - all awaits you! I promise you wont be left feeling like the silly little pickle you entered as.
This exhibition transforms a disused basement kitchen of a Japanese restaurant from a sterile steel aesthetic hell to a vibrant art space that houses more than thirty artists at once, a one day curatorial miracle.
The show is at the same time a dinner, a theatre for performance arts, and a contemporary art exhibition. Artists made edible art and invited the guests to eat with them on the steel countertops, while private view small talks proceeded in the background. Features exclusively artists who work with food, or make artworks inspired by food, the show challenges the traditional conception of both a gallery space and an art exhibition.
