SoHo, New York City, has long been a beacon of artistic innovation and creativity. In the 1960s and 70s, the neighborhood transformed from a manufacturing district to a vibrant cultural hub, attracting artists who were drawn to its spacious lofts and affordable rents. The contemporary art movement found fertile ground here in the 1980s, establishing SoHo as the premier gathering place for artists and collectors alike. Iconic galleries and groundbreaking exhibitions characterized the era, leaving an indelible mark on the global art scene.

Building on this rich legacy, Vibe Fine Arts has its official grand opening on September 19th, 2024. The modern & contemporary fine art gallery promises to breathe new life into the neighborhood's storied artistic heritage. As many galleries have, unfortunately, become retail-focused, stuffy, or appointment-only, Vibe Fine Arts aims to revive this legacy by creating an accessible and dynamic space that brings back the essence of SoHo's vibrant art culture. Founded by Catiana Van Dinh and Zachary (Zac) Presley, the gallery aims to provide an immersive experience that celebrates artistic expression and community engagement. In addition to being Co-Founders, Catiana is the Gallery Director and Presley is the Gallery Curator.

A Vision Rooted in History and Innovation

Vibe Fine Arts occupies a spacious, modern storefront on Wooster Street, a prime location that pays homage to SoHo's rich artistic past. "The contemporary art movement found its roots in the 1980s here in SoHo," says Presley. "We are thrilled to carry forward this legacy and bring back the vibrant energy that defined this era."

The gallery showcases a diverse range of visual arts, including blue-chip paintings, modern masters, limited edition prints, sculptures, photography, and mixed media creations. By curating both emerging and established artists, Vibe Fine Arts offers a unique blend of the old and the new.

Curated with Precision and Passion

Presley, known for his meticulous eye and curatorial expertise, ensures that each piece in the gallery resonates with collectors on a personal level. "Our goal is to connect the right person with the right work of art," he explains. "We are selective in our acquisitions, focusing on pieces that are not only valuable but also meaningful to our clients."

Catiana, with her deep appreciation for the creative process and a passion for supporting artists, plays a crucial role in discovering and nurturing emerging talent in addition to museum grade artworks and market trends. "Art has the power to transform lives," she says. "We want to create a space where artists and collectors feel inspired and connected."

Building Trust and Expanding Collections

Vibe Fine Arts stands out in the competitive SoHo landscape through its commitment to community engagement, strategic marketing, and fair pricing. "We are committed to cultivating unique partnerships with artists and collectors," says Presley. "This helps us secure our clients' trust, enlarge their collections, and boost walk-in business and revenue."

With a collection valued at $20 million and a 4500-square-foot gallery space, Vibe Fine Arts is set to make a significant impact. "We are utilizing our collective knowledge and resources to overcome obstacles and ensure the gallery's success," adds Catiana.

Engaging the Community

Beyond just exhibitions, Vibe Fine Arts plans to enrich and engage the community through a variety of art-related events. These will include private VIP showings, workshops, art lectures, and collaborations. "Our gallery is more than just a place to view art," says Catiana. "It's a cultural hub where people can come together to celebrate creativity and artistic expression."

A Fresh Take on SoHo's Artistic Scene

As Vibe Fine Arts prepares for its grand opening, it promises to offer a fresh take on SoHo's artistic scene, blending the dynamic atmosphere of the past with modern sensibilities. "We are bringing back something that was missing," says Catiana. "The era of modern art that started here is being revived, and we are thrilled to be a part of it."

With their combined expertise, passion, and vision, Zachary Presley and Catiana Van Dinh are set to redefine what it means to experience art in SoHo — reviving its historical legacy. By offering an accessible and vibrant space, they are countering the trend of retail-focused, stuffy, or appointment-only galleries, ensuring that the true essence of SoHo's art culture is preserved and celebrated.

Vibe Fine Arts is more than a gallery; it is a movement that celebrates the power of art to inspire and transform. To learn more about Vibe Fine Arts, check out the website, follow the Instagram page, or visit the gallery on Wooster Street.
