PARIS, FRANCE.- Jeu de Paume presents today Poetics of the City - Paris, signs and scenarios, on view through September 17, 2006. This exhibition is the third in a thematic series exploring photography collections bequeathed to the State and kept at the Mdiathque de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine. After Figures de l'acteur (Figures of the Actor), from November 2004 to January 2005 (man as portrayed and shaped by the movies), and Images de marques, (Brand Images), from April to May 2005 (the object in advertising), this show considers the nature of urban space, the spaces of Paris, which visitors can explore or rediscover through works by Daniel Boudinet, Marcel Bovis, Denise Colomb, Andr Kertsz, Franois Kollar, Roger Parry, Ren-Jacques, Bruno Rquillart and Raymond Voinquel.
