Lakwena Maciver: London, a city that is constantly evolving and inspiring new ideas in its unique cultural landscape, informed the concept of TENDER, LOVING, CARE, as Christies celebrates This is London. Combining vibrant colours and clashing patterns to reflect on the role the city plays in bringing people together from all walks of life, I also want to speak to the human desire to make connections through the exchange of art, ideas, values and culture when they step inside Christies. The installation will embody the rhythmic pace and ever-changing texture of this city.
