BEVERLY HILLS, CA AND NEW YORK, NY.- Harrison Tenzer has joined leading global talent, entertainment, sports and advisory company UTA as senior director of UTA Fine Arts and UTA Artist Space. He will be based in New York City and report to Arthur Lewis, Partner & Creative Director of UTA Fine Arts and UTA Artist Space. Tenzers hiring is the next step in the long-term expansion strategy for UTA Fine Arts, which includes enhanced geographical and client service capabilities.

Tenzer is a seasoned artworld professional with 12 years of experience, most recently as the Vice President, Head of Digital Strategy at Sothebys New York office. Previously, he was a Specialist in Contemporary Art at Sothebys and spearheaded the firms online sales initiative, which saw 30x growth in overall sales during his seven year tenure. Notably, he facilitated the digital sales strategy for renowned collectors and estates like Douglas S. Cramer, Tommy Hilfiger, Edward Albee, Ginny Williams, Hester Diamond, and Joseph H. Hirschhorn. Additionally, Tenzer worked with the Keith Haring Foundation to orchestrate a sale of Haring's personal art collection to benefit The LGBT Center in New York. He also provided strategic market advice to the estate of artist Rammellzee, collaborating with the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston on a major exhibition. Before Sotheby's, Tenzer held various roles at Christie's and served as a Fine Art specialist at Wright auction house. He also co-founded Brooklyn Rail Curatorial Projects, curating diverse exhibitions in the United States and maintains his own art practice with a studio in Bushwick.
