NEW YORK, NY.- Roland Auctions, NY, is presenting its two-part July 28th and 29th auction this week, maintaining their recent trend of hosting two-part auctions over the last several months, fine tuned to offer highly-desirable Contemporary and Modern Art, which has been topping all their recent auctions.

Along with Fine Art selections, Roland will present hundreds of lots of Decorative Arts, 20th Century Modern, Antique & Vintage Furniture, Textiles, Silver, Gold and Silver Jewelry, Rugs, Collectibles, and Asian Art.

An iconic Andy Warhol: Tomato Soup Can silkscreen is already getting a huge amount of pre-auction attention . This Andy Warhol (American, 1928-1987) screenprint of Campbell's Tomato Soup Can, is from a limited edition of 250, numbered 28/250, a signed, original work. Provenance: Leo Castelli Gallery, copyright 1968. Single family ownership since 1968. [Image: 34 1/2" H x 22 1/2" W; Frame: 41 1/2" H x 20 1/2" W]. Estimated at $45,000-$55,000.

Joining in the art arena will be a Robert Natkin (American, 1930-2010): Abstract on Handmade Rag Paper, Large work on handmade rag paper. Signed, lower left. Framed in box frame under Plexiglass. Estimate $16,000-$18,000, a Marc Chagall: Arabian Nights – limited edition lithograph titled "Tale From The Arabian Nights", pencil signed and earlier possible number (1/90), marked "Plate 10". Literature: Getty and Christie's "F. Mourlot Marc Chagall Lithographs, Boston, 1963", No. 42. [Image: 15 1/2" H x 11 3/4" W; Frame: 21" H x 17 1/2" W]. Estimate $12,000-$15,000 and a Minas Avetisian (Armenian, 1928-1975): Portrait Study of a Robed Woman, Oil on canvas portrait of a semi-robed woman in colors. Signed and titled verso is Cyrillic. Signed on window frame and dated '72. With Certificate of Authenticity, also in Cyrillic. Unframed. [29 1/2 x 22 inches]. Estimated at $5,000-$7,000.

Decorative Arts include a Clark Mills (1810-1883): Bronze Life Mask of President Lincoln, taken on February 12, 1865. Stamped Gorham & Co. Founders. Inscribed "Abraham Lincoln 1865. Full details and photo of the plaster illustrated page 233 "Lincoln in Photographs," University of Oklahoma Press. Estimate $5,000-$7,000 and a large Chinese Jadeite Carved Group on Stand, Carved jadeite group depicting a Hotai on a ledge on a hill above other figures among bamboo and other trees, with a mountainside on back. Stand not original and non-conforming. [Group: 14 1/2" H x 15" W x 6" D; Stand only: 6" H x 17" W x 7" D]. Estimate $2,500-$3,000.

Standouts in Mid-Century furniture includes an Assembled Set of 20th C. Modern Dining Chairs, 10, Group of 10 mid-century modern teak dining chairs by Funder-Schmidt Madsen Denmark, with six from "The Workbench" four bearing #196201109, two bearing #19690617, the others purchased from a private client. [32" H x 19" W x 20" D]. Estimate $2,000-$4,000.

Jewelry also has a good showing at Roland, with an 18K Gold Piaget Ladies Watch, 18K yellow gold Piaget ladies watch engraved "Love" on back, with original box and extra links. 44.6 dwt. / 69.4 grams. Estimate $4,000-$6,000, a 14K Gold & Beaded Coral Necklace, 14K yellow gold and beaded coral 5-strand necklace. Estimate $2,500-$4,500 and an 18K Gold Brooch with Precious Stones, 18K yellow gold, lapis lazuli, rubies, emeralds and diamonds brooch with lab report. Estimate $1,500-$2,500.
