MONACO.- Almine Rech is delighted to announce the opening of an exhibition space in Gstaad, Switzerland, as well as an office space in the Principality of Monaco.
As part of its strategy to expand internationally, Almine Rech is growing its international reach, with the opening of its first temporary location in Gstaad, Switzerland. The Swiss art scene draws collectors from around the world, the exhibition venue will complement the Almine Rech global program. The space will be located in Bahnhofstrasse 1, and will open its doors in the beginning of the winter season of 2023.
«The Gstaad region is one of great beauty. I am a regular visitor myself, as are many art collectors who will certainly come to see our exhibitions. We are planning shows in the region for this reason, as our artists work will be viewed by art connoisseurs.»

In parallel, Almine Rech extends within the Principality of Monaco - vibrant hub for contemporary art - with a new office space located in the Carré dOr district.
«The Principality of Monaco is legendary, notably because in the early 20th century, artists as well as art and ballet enthusiasts would stay and still reside in Monaco and the surrounding area. Today the Principality, having always supported dance and modern art with ambitious exhibitions at the Grimaldi Forum and in local Museums has added Contemporary art into its cultural program. It is this favorable cultural context that prompted us to open offices for the gallery.»
