LOS ANGELES, CA.- Abell Auction Co. will present Modern Interiors on March 28 in Los Angeles. Whether you’re a collector of simply seeking a one-of-a-kind addition to your home or office, each item is carefully curated to showcase the best of contemporary furniture and art. Live bidding for the online auction starts at 9 a.m. PST.

A strong representation of furnishings by Roche Bobois, B&B Italia, Thomas Moser, Gaetano Pesce, Karl Springer and other prominent designers will be offered. Highlights include a Gaetano Pesce UP Chair and Ottoman ($1,000-$2,000); Ligne Rosset Togo sofa ($3,000-$5.000); Roche Bobois Mah Jong sofas ($3,000 - $5,000); and Thomas Moser Deacons Bench ($600-$800).

The sale also will present fine original works of art by Sister Mary Corita Kent, Robert Indiana, Richard Jones, Paul Pascal, Pablo Picasso, Raimonds Staprans and many others. Highlights include a bronze, silver and jeweled landscape sculpture by Richard Jones ($18,000-$22,000); “Windy Weather Boats” by Raimonds Staprans ($8,000 - $12,000); serigraph by Robert Indiana ($1,000-$1,500); abstract sculpture by Paul Pascal ($700-$1,000); framed print under acrylic by Richard Anuszkiewicz ($600-$800); and several serigraphs by Sister Mary Corita Kent including “Hazlitt-Westinghouse Commission” ($600-$800), “Thoreau” ($600-$800) and “If a Man Does Not Keep Pace…” ($600-$800).

A stunning array of jewelry, decorative art and notable items also will be offered. Fine jewelry highlights include a pair of Boris Lebaeu 18 karat yellow gold earrings ($1,000-$1,500); Salvador Dali 18 karat yellow gold sculpture necklace ($1,000-$1,500); Richard Jones 18 karat yellow gold, morganite and multi-gem set ring ($1,500-$2,000) and 18 karat pink gold and morganite fancy link endless necklace ($8,000-$10,000); platinum, diamond and aquamarine ring ($3,000-$5,000); and Tiffany & Co. 18 karat yellow gold heart ribbon earrings ($400-$600).
