| R. Kenton Nelson One-Man Show Opens |

SANTA BARBARA, CA.-The Reynolds Gallery at Westmont College presents R. Kenton Nelson One-Man Show, on view through December 16, 2005. Born, raised, educated, and currently working in California, R. Kenton Nelson has established himself as a quintessentially American painter. Nelson's paintings "idealize the ordinary" by bringing to the canvas the "beauty and essence of everyday life and things." In addition to his gallery work, Nelson's paintings have been featured on the covers of several publications including the New Yorker.
The Reynolds Gallery is pleased to offer this exhibition in conjunction with the Pasadena Museum of California Art, jointly providing a comprehensive review of this internationally acclaimed artist. A slip-cased set of two catalogs will be available for sale at the gallery. Plan to join us for a private reception and book-signing with the artist.
