SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA.-The Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego is proud to present works from the visual art graduate program at the University of California, San Diego with Fresh, New Art from UCSD . From mock documentary to a new take on border art, this exhibition does not present a unified theme; instead, it focuses on an eclectic array of the most promising work. Each of the participating artists offers a fresh approach to their chosen media or subject matter. Seen together, the collective strength of these emerging artists' diverse work celebrates the vitality of the arts at UCSD. The exhibition is curated by Rachel Teagle.
Artists include: Julia Dzwonkoski, Veronika Bauer, Danny Jauregui, Zerek Kempf, Tara Knight, Sharon Levy, Chungmin Moon, Jorge Nava, Ian Patrick, Ed Porter, Stephen Remington, Kelly Sears, Shannon Spanhake, Sergio de la Torre, Robert Twomey, and Joe Winter.
