NEW YORK, NY.- Tanya Bonakdar Gallery announced Megan Bedford and David Delgado have been made Partners of the gallery.

Since opening in 1994, the mission of Tanya Bonakdar Gallery has been consistently artist driven with an emphasis on visionary work, an uncompromising exhibitions program, and the long-term promotion of artists' careers. For many years, both Bedford and Delgado have proven essential to these core goals and integral to the gallery’s success in achieving them. The announcement of Bedford and Delgado as Partners recognizes their remarkable dedication, commitment and unique talents. Further, it emphasizes the collaborative nature of the gallery as an organization while challenging the traditional hierarchies of the gallery system. Each distinct department, from the artist’s liaisons and sales to the technical and logistics team, serve as equally vital building blocks of a platform to present our gallery artists’ work.

Joining the gallery in 2018, Megan Bedford quickly illustrated an expertise in artist relations, exhibitions management, as well as sales and client development. Most recently a Director and Head Artist Liaison, Bedford has played a key role in the career development of gallery artists throughout the program. On a daily basis, Bedford collaborates with Owner Tanya Bonakdar and Senior Partner Ethan Sklar on all aspects of programming, exhibition planning and gallery management. Simultaneously, Bedford oversees and maintains the gallery's expanding digital and virtual presence as a sales platform. Most significantly, Bedford leads and executes projects across all departments with a cool professionalism and unwavering integrity.

"Tanya’s ambitious program is what initially drew me to the gallery. Having the privilege of working with so many incredible artists over the past few years has been rewarding and inspiring. In my new role as Partner, I am committed to the gallery’s vision, building on the strong foundation and success Tanya and Ethan have achieved over nearly three decades.”- Megan Bedford

David Delgado joined the gallery staff in 2015 as a technician, and quickly ascended to a leadership role in the Exhibitions department. Most recently as Director of Exhibitions, Production and Art Handling, Delgado has expertly led a team of professional technicians to implement a rigorous exhibition program in New York, Los Angeles and at prestigious art fairs around the world. During his tenure, Delgado has played a critical role in planning, executing and showcasing the most challenging work by gallery artists — all while managing the demands of a commercial enterprise with precision and aplomb. As Partner, Delgado brings his unique experience and talents to the gallery's leadership team.

"I've had the privilege of collaborating with our remarkable roster of artists to bring many visionary exhibitions to life over the years. I'm excited for the next chapter as Partner and to continue enabling our artists to showcase their unparalleled creativity with the gallery." - David Delgado
