LONDON.- The Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition is a unique celebration of contemporary art and architecture, providing a vital platform and support for the artistic community. Each year the Royal Academy of Arts presents a number of prizes for outstanding works within the Exhibition. This year the following have been awarded:
Charles Wollaston Award: The prestigious £25,000 Charles Wollaston Award has been won by Uta Kögelsberger for her video work, Cull, in the Royal Academys 254th Summer Exhibition. Established in 1978 and presented to the most distinguished work in the exhibition, it is one of the most significant art prizes awarded in the UK.

The Thomas Burberry Prize for Print £10,000 for a print in any medium:
Judges: Burberry Chief Marketing Officer, Rod Manley and Grayson Perry RA

The Jack Goldhill Award for Sculpture £10,000 for a sculpture:
Judges: Debbie Abrahams, Rana Begum RA and Judy Goldhill

The British Institution Awards for Students Two prizes of £5,000 and £3,000 for work across a comprehensive range of creative disciplines from painting to architecture:
Judges: Michael Claridge, Ian Kiaer, Jennifer Powell, Rose Sepple and Andrew Stahl
Prize awarded to: £3,000 - Yoonjoong Cho - Where Is My Chair? (1287)
Prize awarded to: £5,000 - Ting-En Chen - Why Do You Keep Changing in My Mind? (671)
The Hugh Casson Drawing Prize £5,000 for an original work on paper in any medium, where the emphasis is clearly on drawing:
Judges: Norman Ackroyd RA, Diana Edmunds and Carola Zogolovitch

The CDUK award for Architecture £5,000 for a work that best demonstrates the capacity of architecture to signal hope:

Sunny Dupree Family Award for a Woman Artist £4,000 for a painting or sculpture:

The Arts Club Award £2,500 awarded to an artist aged 35 or under for a work in any medium:
