NEW YORK, NY.- Just in time for Mother’s Day, Lark Mason Associates announced a sale of Fine Jewelry from New York Estates, which opens for bidding on Tuesday May 3rd through May 19th on iGavelAuctions.com.

“This sale overflows with wonderful gifts for Mother’s Day,” says Lark Mason. “Their low estimates add to the allure of these beautiful treasures, making them accessible at all price points.”

According to Mason, the sale includes gold jewelry from the estate of Carey Boone Nelson, a direct descendant of Daniel Boone. Ms. Nelson was a self-taught sculptor and jewelry designer who studied under the Prix de Rome winner, Arthur Lorenzani and John Hovennes at the Art Students League in New York and with John Terken of the National Sculpture Society. She was recognized for her accomplishments in the arts by the Salmagundi Club, The National Arts Club, the Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club and was a member of the society of illustrators and the Royal Society of Arts, London

Among the 120 lots of fine and silver jewelry is a Platinum, Diamond and Pearl Ring set with a central 2.00 carat round diamond and a 7.5mm pearl, estimated at $2,500/3,500. Also offered are several panther-form pieces, including a gold panther link necklace (Estimate: $1,000/1,500), a large panther-form convertible brooch pendant for $1,000/1,500 and a gold-hinged panther bracelet. The sale also features several diamond pieces including an 18K White Gold and Diamond Necklace with graduated stones (Estimate: $3,000/5000), an 18K White Gold and Diamond Bracelet (Estimate: $2,000/3000), and a Pair of 18K Gold and Diamond Leaf Form Ear Clips priced at $400/600.

Rounding out the sale are a few small antique pieces, including a finally detailed Indian Repousse Gold, Pearl and Emerald Ring or Clothing Ornament that depicts a female deity flanked by two attendants and is estimated at $700/1,000.
