NEW YORK, NY.- Christie’s Jewels announces global sales calendar and announcements for March 2022 spanning three online auctions across Milan, Hong Kong and New York. The global sales will collectively feature notable jewels, including a significant selection of rare and precious gemstones, colorless diamonds, colored diamonds, as well as signed jewels by iconic houses including Buccellati, Bulgari, Cartier, JAR, Tiffany & Co., Van Cleef & Arpels and many more.

Additionally, Christie’s Jewels announced the appointment of Eleanor Walper, who joins as Associate Vice President, Specialist at Christie’s Los Angeles, where she started her career in 2014. Prior to returning to Christie’s, Eleanor was a specialist at another international auction house where she focused on securing notable jewelry consignments across the West Coast region. At Christie’s, Eleanor will be responsible for client development on the West Coast. Eleanor graduated with her BA from University of Southern California, received her Graduate Gemologist certificate from the Gemological Institute of America in 2015 and is a certified member of the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers since 2018.

Christie’s Milan will present the best of International watchmaking and Italian jewellery craftmanship this spring in our online auction of Jewels and Watches Online: La Dolce Vita. Boasting examples by the most iconic brands, highlights include a fine collection from Chantecler — Capri’s most famous jeweller — pieces from the glamorous Montenapoleone maisons Sabbadini and Vhernier, along with a selection of precious gems such as Colombian and Brazilian emeralds, diamonds and sapphires. The auction will also feature a curated selection of timepieces from the most celebrated manufacturers, including Patek Philippe, Rolex, Piaget and many more.

The Spring edition of Christie's Hong Kong Jewels and Ornaments Online features a broad and brilliant array of fine diamonds, gemstones and decorative ornaments from renowned jewellery and works of art maisons such as Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Buccellati, Tiffany & Co, Lladro, Lalique, Baccarat and many more. Offering over 140 lots of jewellery and 80 ornaments lots, spanning from simple and classic designs of jewellery to bold and contemporary decorative pieces, with estimates ranging from HK$3,000 to $2,000,000. The sale is sure to excite both new and seasoned collectors, as well as tastemakers!

Christie’s New York will present Jewels Online, open for bidding online between 28 March – 7 April. The sale includes over 200 lots with more than half of all lots being offered without reserve. The online sale will showcase designs by renowned jewelry houses including Buccellati, Bulgari, Cartier, Graff, Harry Winston, JAR, Oscar Heyman & Brothers, Seaman Schepps, Tiffany & Co., Van Cleef & Arpels and Verdura.
