PALM BEACH, FLA.- On February 10th, Hindman Auctions will offer jewelry by legendary designers in its Palm Beach Jewelry auction, ideal for anyone looking to add pieces to their collection that are simultaneously bold and sophisticated. The sale features everything from timeless statement jewelry to nature inspired pieces. Illustrious jewelers Tiffany & Co., Elizabeth Locke and David Webb will be represented in the offering, as well as an assortment of iconic designs.

Gold Statement Pieces

Gold statement pieces from the second half of the 20th century continue to be highly sought-after, making this the perfect sale for any collector. Boucheron earclips and a bracelet (lot 28 & 27; estimate: $2,500 - 3,500 and $5,000 - 7,000), a large thistle brooch by Cartier (lot 9; estimate: $2,500 - 3,500) and gold cuff bracelets are just a few of the top offerings.

Signed Floral & Nature Inspired Designs

This sale offers a range of imaginative pieces that will suit everyone from Palm Beach locals to those who are looking to take a piece of Florida home with them. A 'pineapple' brooch is an eye-popping piece (lot 10; estimate: $4,000 - 6,000), and a pair shell earclips by Seaman Schepps is another stunning option (lot 66; estimate: $1,000- 2,000).

Designs by David Webb will also be offered and are strong representations of the designer’s colorful and inventive works. As a highly recognized designer, Webb’s work was presented in a retrospective at the Norton Museum of Art in 2014.

Additional Highlights

A lively brooch is always an elegant finishing touch, such as a gold and emerald frog (lot 14; estimate: $2,200 -2,500) or a turquoise and diamond brooch (lot 57; estimate: $1,800 - 2,200). Attractive lots also include a pair of Burmese ruby and diamond earclips (lot 78; estimate: $15,000 - 20,000) and a Van Cleef & Arpels, ruby and diamond ring (lot 61; estimate: $6,000-8,000).
