Make A Cricut Shadow Box

Are not box frames very popular? You give great gifts, can be altered simply and are a fantastic way to celebrate. In this post we will teach you how to perform a cricutine shading box paper cut and have a free pattern to keep and use. The shadow boxes of Cricut are actually pretty straightforward, you simply need to have a clear understanding of what your final outcome is like. Or know at least what aspects you want to contain. With Cricut you can produce personalised presents that are easy to manufacture yet seem highly efficient.

Shadow Box Paper Cut

Select 2 squares from the Cricut design area. Make one square slightly smaller and slice it so that a square frame is left to you. This is the edge that supports each layer. However, you wish to multiply it for several levels. Start your pictures next. When you choose to ungroup a layered picture like the rainbow and delete elements you do not wish to utilise. Slice any picture sections that you do not need.

Make Clouds With Stars

In order to build a cloud background with stars, you may make and fuse these selected many cloud shapes. Also make a corner and edges with squares. Next choose a star from the left side of the form bar to generate plenty of stars several times. From time to time, resize to add a little variation. Arrange now that the stars are satisfied with the position above the clouds. If you're happy to shift the clouds, right click, select and weld together all the stars. Once soldered, it slides over your cloud image as one image and divides stars from the clouds. Choose a flip on the top bar then flip to the botton corner to generate the lower stars. Then the square surface was welded. Do this for the whole sheet of paper with each layer. However, make sure that the pictures are placed correctly in your Cricut shadow box by sliding a picture over the other to make sure that you are satisfied and no other images overshadow.

Cutting Cricut Shadow Box

You have to choose the colours you want for each level before cutting your pictures. I think that in the design area it helps to colour the pictures. This is important especially when you send your project to be trimmed. Lay each part one to the next, such that the pictures are precisely the same and join them. They still cut individually, but it helps to size the cut. The shadow box is next measured and generally a lip is above the glass. So you can measure the cut and you can't see the square paper frame behind the glass. Click to cut if you're satisfied with the size. If you want a simple backdrop for your Cricut nursery shadow picture, you will want to cut a bottom square too. To make your work easy, please visit lightboxgoodman.

Building The Paper Cut

Once all of the components have been cut, order and start making a cut of paper. Use adhesive dots or adhesive pads and first construct the image with the backdrop. Construct the layer by layer till your Nursery Shadow box is done.

FRAME YOUR DESIGN

You can either place it in a shop frame or use the box pattern in my sample set to create a paper frame. You can also frame your own shadow design in two ways. In order to use a display frame, simply turn it over, take off your back and inside face down your own shadow box. Just cut it off, fold the edges of my box, and glue or tape the sides of the box to make a box. There are two components in the package – merely a sandwich between both components.

ADD LED LIGHTS.

You may add backward light to LEDs to illuminate it and view all these layers and shades more better if you place your unique shadow box design in a display framework! But other folks only have fairy lights. I like using LED light stripe. They're going beneath your cardstock layers anyhow. Usually I add my LED light strips around the frame border to even shine well. If required, you will want to place the lights in order to hang your cable out one corner—cut a little slot into the corner of the cord frame. Now reinstall the rear of the frame, plug in the light and experience the magic.
