WoW TBC Classic: How to Make Gold with Jewelcrafting

Gold is much harder to come by in old-school WoW, both Classic and Burning Crusade, and you will need it for a variety of things that will make your life easier when you play.

Why is WoW TBC Classic gold so much needed, why is it so important?

It is important to understand that gold is much more difficult to make in the classic version of World of Warcraft and this refers to the original Vanilla Classic and recently released WoW Classic: Burning Crusade. Players who played when the game first came out back in 2004/2005 remember the long grind at levels 30-40 where you had to save up a ton of gold to get your first mount.

This is incredibly important, because you will want a mount right away. Moving in the game is a great pain, you will be forced to fly and run (slowly) to get where you need to go, unless you purchase a level 70 account right away. Your first mount in Classic is one of the great upgrades you get and makes getting around the map so much easier.

This applies in a similar way once you reach Outland in Burning Crusade. The ground mount no longer provides similar benefits, the ordinary normal flying mount is okay but slow and the fast speed 360% flying mount takes up around 5000 gold coins.

Mounts are only just one reason, training, gear and constant gear upgrades and repairs, flask and potions, it’s the gold that actually moves the game in Classic TBC unlike the retail versions like Shadowlands.

Professions in WoW TBC Classic

One of the best ways to make gold is to take on professions very early in the game, basically as soon as they become available. Gathering particular professions is the best way to earn money. You will want to choose two from Mining, Herbalism, and Skinning. Choose the one you think will best fit the profession you want to do when you reach level 70. Mining goes with blacksmithing, engineering and jewelcrafting, herbalism goes with alchemy, and skinning goes with furriers.

You must do this while leveling up, because your ability to obtain the resources is limited by your skill level in the particular gathering profession. In normal World of Warcraft, you can gather whatever you want and still earn skill points and get materials. In WoW TBC Classic, you must have a certain skill level to collect the resource nodes available.

Jewelcrafting

This is a new profession in The Burning Crusade whose job is to make various jewelry such as necklaces, rings, trinkets, crowns, to gems. This profession is closely related to Mining because the raw materials needed to make jewelry are mined from ore using what is called Prospecting, a new ability. Prospecting is the ability to turn 5 Ores into jewelcrafting raw materials. Basically, Jewelcrafting is a profession related to the art of making various jewelry. Usually, this profession is used when leveling. Every player who aspires to become a jewelcrafter must first reach levels 1-300 Jewelcrafting. They must reach that level before proceeding to the 300+ Outlands recipes. Again, this profession would not be found in the Classic Era Server. To note, Jewelcrafting is often considered the best profession to produce gold. By working in this profession, you can place sockets on certain equipment to fill with Gems. The gems will increase the stats on the equipment. You can also make a “Necklace of the Deep” and then sell it at the Auction House for a fairly high price. You can sell it for gold. With Jewelcrafting, you can enhance your portfolio with your own handmade jewelry and do business for gold. That's all!

This guide will pretty much apply as for earning coins in New World if you are keen on trying on the new MMORPG by Amazon Games.
