The first exclusive print release with Selfridges is Therapy (featured above), by Maxim, part of the famous band The Prodigy. A limited-edition print of just 20, in this work Maxim explores the finer details of his characterised Warrior butterflies, invoking not only the beauty of these creatures but also opening your mind to the positive energy of his world.
Maxims artwork explores the darker side of humanity, often playing with ideas of beauty, decay and horror. The butterfly has become a recurring motif in his work, escaping the darkness. Whether representative of life, death, or reincarnation, Maxim encourages his viewers to explore this concept of darkness with him.
