Verne Dawson, Three Aerialists (detail), 2004, Private Collection.

LONDON, ENGLAND.- Camden Arts Centre presents today Verne Dawson and Urs Fischer. Verne Dawson's breathtaking Acrobat paintings as well as a new just completed piece will be on show with Urs Fischer's latest radical sculptural installation in Gallery 3, both open on Friday 13 May.
Verne Dawson and Urs Fischer bring wit, improvisational flair and a shared interest in everyday cosmology and folklore to Camden Arts Centre. Verne Dawson's large scale paintings are both charming and unsettling. This exhibition, his first in a public gallery in the UK, includes his Acrobat series as well as a previously unseen work completed especially for this exhibition. In his latest installation, Urs Fischer will no doubt draw on his innate punk sensibility and large repertoire of tricks to plan a new installation in Gallery 3, details of which will be revealed just a few days before the show begins.
