LONDON, UK.- The Science Museum invites you to discover the answer to Life, the Universe and Everything in a Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster of an exhibition launched to coincide with the release of new movie The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Written by Douglas Adams this science fiction classic went from cult radio show to become one of the nation's best-loved books and TV series.

This year, fans have been able to relive the story for the first time on the big screen and the Science Museum is taking this national phenomenon a step further, presenting the ultimate experience for fans of any age: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Exhibition. Specially created by the Science Museum and the makers of the new movie, this fantastic exhibition will take you to the far reaches of the universe and back. Bringing Adams' iconic tale to life, our incredible re-created film sets and interactives will immerse you in this fantastical world using real props, costumes and film footage, allowing you to come face to face with Vogons, step aboard the Heart of Gold and meet Marvin the paranoid android.

In addition you can find out more about writer Douglas Adams and the heritage of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and take a look at the science that inspired his unique ideas. To prove that science fiction may indeed be science fact, the exhibition also divulges the real science behind Adams' creation, revealing that on closer inspection these imaginings may not be as far-fetched as first thought.

A phenomenon of science fiction culture, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is set to inspire a whole new generation to think about science in a more creative way and with robots, aliens and so much more this accompanying exhibition will be entirely unlike anything you've ever seen! So whether you're a Vogon, the President of the Galaxy or just a doomed citizen of the planet Earth, hitch a ride to the Science Museum for infinite fun for all the family.
