Where to buy Russian art online in 2020

The pandemic had a huge impact on the art market in 2020. More and more collectors look for and buy art online using the websites of galleries and auction houses. A large selection of paintings by contemporary Russian artists is presented on the RakovGallery website. The gallery was founded 10 years ago in Yekaterinburg by the Rakov brothers, who started to sell works by famous Ural artists. Today the gallery has acquired an all-Russian status and has branches in St. Petersburg, Moscow and Perm.

In the gallery's catalog, exclusive paintings of various genres are available: portrait, city landscape, seascape, still life, abstraction, surrealism etc. The works are carefully selected by professional curators and art critics who follow the latest trends in the art market in Russia and other countries. All paintings can be fit into a frame, an examination can be carried out and documents can be drawn up for the export of art objects abroad.

In RakovGallery you can buy a painting as a gift, prices are competitive and start from 10,000 rubles. There is free delivery and a painting fitting service: a gallery employee brings a painting to a client's house so that the buyer can see whether it fits the interior. The list of artists is constantly growing, there are already more than 100 names in it. Among them are such acclaimed painters like Anna Berezovskaya, Olga Suvorova, Vladimir Kirillov, Agatha Belaya, Armen Gasparyan, Evgeny Guselnikov and Alexander Sigov.

A large exhibition space opened in the gallery building in Yekaterinburg, and exhibitions of the brightest artists are regularly held, which gather thousands of visitors. Only in 2020 were held the exhibitions of Nikolai Reznichenko and Alla Lipatova "Dreams of the Beautiful", Armen and Olga Gasparyan "Labyrinths of Time", Honored Artist of Russia Sergei Kostylev "By the Roads of the Urals", Sergei Prokhorov "Impression", a promising Ural artist Zhanna Sidorova "Breath of Nature". Finding and promoting talented artists is one of the main goals of RakovGallery.

The gallery's ambitions expand far beyond the borders of Russia, that is why RakovGallery's paintings are in high demand in America, Europe and Asia. In total, over 4000 works have been sold during the gallery's existence. In the future, it is planned to launch an online auction under the RakovGallery brand, as well as the website for the sale of antiques.
