The Princes of Asturias, Felipe and Letizia, next to the hare by Albrecht Durer.
|
MADRID, SPAIN.- The Princes of Asturias, Felipe and Letizia, inaugurated the Durer exhibition at the Museo del Prado. The exhibition presents the works with the least amount of light so as to damage the works the least. The princes accepted to pose next to the Hare for three seconds for reporters to shoot some pictures, without flashes. José Manuel Matilla, the curator of the exhibition, gave the princes a tour of the works, together with Klaus Albrecht Schroder, director of the Albertina Museum in Vienna. There are a total of 57 drawings and 29 stamps, as well as four oil paintings from Museo del Prado. The exhibition was divided into eight sections.
