The Vero Beach Museum of Art reopens
“The VBMA’s number one priority is to the safety of its staff and guests. We are fully committed to keeping everyone who enters the VBMA safe at all times,” said Executive Director/ CEO Brady Roberts.

VERO BEACH, FLA.- The Vero Beach Museum of Art announced it will reopen its galleries and sculpture parks to the public on Wednesday, October 7, 2020. With the declining rate of new COVID cases in Indian River County, the exhibition galleries will open with required visitation guidelines, limited gallery capacity, and contact-less admission ticketing. The Museum’s new health, procedural, and cleaning protocols and restrictions are outlined below:

Facemasks are required for all visitors’ ages 2+, temperatures will be taken for anyone entering the Museum, 6ft social distancing guidelines are to be maintained, and all visitors will be encouraged to regularly wash their hands. The higher-touch areas in the building, including the auditorium, ArtZone, and Museum Café, will remain closed until further notice, and there will be no group tours in the first stage of reopening. Some public programs, such as Art Talks, Film Studies, and the Museum Art School classes, will be offered online, at least for the fall.

Additionally, the Museum is offering reduced admission prices to Adults: $8 and Seniors: $7 with FREE Admission extended to now include First Responders and Healthcare Workers with (I.D).

The Museum is opening under new hours of operation:
Monday and Tuesday: CLOSED
Wednesday – Saturday: 10 am – 4:30 pm
Sunday: 1 – 4 pm

Please note: The ArtZone, Art School, Museum Café, and South Sculpture Park remain closed.

Capacity is set at 150 visitors in the Museum at any one time.

The exhibition Avery to Warhol remains on view and consists of curated artworks from the Museum’s permanent collection through January 3, 2021.
