PALM BEACH, FLA.- Sotheby’s announced the opening of a new gallery location in Palm Beach this November.

Located at The Royal Poinciana Plaza, Sotheby’s Palm Beach gallery will showcase a wide-ranging selection of fine art, design, jewelry, watches and luxury cars in a curated lifestyle setting, all available for immediate purchase and continuously rotated throughout the coming months. Select auction highlights will also travel to the space for preview, ahead of their respective sales.

Sotheby’s Palm Beach will launch this fall at The Royal Poinciana Plaza alongside new spaces from Pace and Acquavella Galleries.

David Schrader, Sotheby’s Global Head of Private Sales, commented: “We are incredibly excited to be opening a new gallery space in Palm Beach. This historic city has always been a popular destination for our clients, and with many of them staying longer-term under present circumstances, we’re thrilled to directly bring them a selection of fine art and luxury goods in a curated setting, alongside our distinguished peers at Pace and Acquavella.”

“Since we opened the doors to our inaugural East Hampton gallery in June, our clients have demonstrated significant appetite to transact, particularly when the best objects are available – from Jonas Wood prints to Rolex wristwatches and Basquiat canvases. The space has provided our clients with a local, one-stop-shop for all of their collecting needs, which is ultimately why private sales is such an important arm of our business.”

The inaugural presentation will launch with important contemporary paintings by Jean-Michel Basquiat, Andy Warhol, George Condo, and Damien Hirst, 20th century design and furniture by George Nakashima, Jean Prouvé and Jean Royère, and timepieces by Rolex and Patek Philippe offered at a variety of price points. Additionally, Sotheby’s Palm Beach gallery will exhibit a selection of upcoming auction highlights and host monthly selling exhibitions of contemporary jewelers, debuting with a curated selection of 14 pieces by Parisian High-Jewellery House Édéenne.

The 2,700+ square foot space at 150 Royal Poinciana Plaza is anticipated to open in early November, Monday - Saturday from 10am-6pm, and Sunday from 11am-5pm.
